Medical Emergencies: A Primer Medical emergencies can occur anywhere at any time to anyone. When one happens in your presence, especially in your office, will you be ready to help? This interactive session will review some of the common and some of the treatable medical urgencies and emergencies, and protocols for you and your team to follow. Syncope is the most common medical emergency in dental offices, but we will go deeper to review what to do for cardiac issues, anaphylaxis, asthma attacks, and other unfortunate situations.
