For the second time in two years, University of Calgary assistant professor Ruisheng Wang, P.Eng., PhD , has won a Google Research Award for his work developing more realistic 3D maps. The award comes with a US $59,500 prize to support his research, which involves developing computer algorithms that combine mobile street-view images
