Leapin’ Leprechaun Park Hunt The search is on to find the Leprechaun that has escaped in our Dublin parks! Families participate together in a nature park hunt to find the leprechaun and his pot of gold before the St. Patrick’s Day Parade! Registration fee is $5.00 per family - please only register one member of your household. Do you have the luck of the Irish on your side to catch Dublin’s mischievous leprechaun? If you are up for the challenge, here is what you need to do: 1. Register for the Leapin’ Leprechauns Park Hunt 2. From Feb. 21 – Mar. 12, visit the park anytime during operating hours and find the St. Patrick’s Day signage 3. Log on to the City’s designated webpage and give your best guess on how many signs our mischievous leprechaun left behind. All information provided is optional and will enter you for a chance to win an amazing St. Patrick’s Day prize! Winner notified by Mar. 14. Family Fishing Fun Barbara Ray
Join Ms. Barbara at the DCRC pond for a fun, family evening of fishing! Get up close and hands-on with nature as we practice techniques to catch fish, including how to properly cast and catch. Equipment and supplies are provided. Registration fee is per child participant (families receive one set of materials per registered child). Parent participation is required.
Spring Egg-stravaganza Event Recreation Services staff
Grab your paintbrush, tennis shoes, and swimsuit – get ready for an egg-stravaganza! Travel throughout the DCRC participating in three stations consisting of collection of floating colorful eggs in the pool, an arts & craft project and a self-led scavenger hunt! Each station will last 30-minutes with travel time for a total of 90 minutes. Participants will receive a prize at the end of the event. Please come dressed to begin in the pool. Children must participate in their assigned age group in order to control the size of the groups. Children 5 years old and older must be accompanied by an adult supervisor. Parents must be in the water with children 4 years old and under. Registration begins Mar. 22. Family Fish w/ a Firefighter Washington Township Fire Dept. Join Washington Township firefighters for an enjoyable family fishing program at the DCRC pond. Included in the program is basic instruction on equipment, bait, fishing techniques and pond
