Lions Home extends heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to all individual and corporate donors, as well as the Lions Clubs of Singapore (LCS), for their generous support. These contributions significantly help in providing our residents with enriched lives.
Happy Meals at Copthorne King’s Hotel 27 May 2023 Organised by Copthorne King’s Hotel as part of their corporate social responsibility programme, 20 residents and staff from Lions Home were invited to enjoy Penang cuisine at the Princess Terrace restaurant with entertainment all through lunch. They also raised funds for the Home through their internal fundraising efforts.
Flag Day 2023 1 July - 30 September 2023 Our annual Flag Day successfully exceeded the fundraising target of $250,000 to raise $255,414. With the dollar-for-dollar matching under the Tote Board’s Enhanced Fundraising Programme (capped at $250,000) and Community Silver Trust fund, the campaign raised more than $500,000.
Colour-Space Continuum 1 August - 31 October 2023 Charity art exhibition ‘Colour-Space Continuum’ was organised by Lion Ying Wai Lin from LCS Sentosa. Held at the Kent Ridge Guild House Art Gallery, art enthusiasts had the opportunity to purchase the art paintings by her.
Project Rainbow: Love Beyond Time 18 August 2023
Charity Market 28 July 2023
Hampton Pre-School Bishan organised a charity auction exhibition titled ‘Love Beyond Time’ (爱，穿越时光) . Held at Bishan Community Club, nearly 300 students and their parents turned up to support the event, where they could bid on beautiful art pieces made by the students. $8,083 was raised from this fundraiser.
Shopee Gives Back 1 July - 30 September 2023 Lions Home was part of the #ShopeeGivesBack campaign from July to September 2023. Shopee users were able to donate to Lions Home using their Shopee coins for a good cause. A total of $1,164 was raised from this initiative.
Since 2017, BCA Academy has been supporting Lions Home. BCA Academy organised a one-day closed-door charity market in their premises where the sales proceeds from the games and merchandise sales was donated to Lions Home. A total of $192 was donated to the Home.
