Jesus say he knew not the day nor the hour of His returnf” A. In Mark’s gospel we read, “But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Fa ther.” In this second gospel, Christ is shown as a servant. We have an excellent view of this humanity. John presents Him in His divinity. Since Christ was God and man together, He had a divine consciousness. He knew all things. He also had a human con sciousness. This is clear from Luke’s gospel. (He grew in wisdom and sta ture, and in favor with God and man.) He had a normal growth on the hu man side but from all eternity He was the eternal Son. As God He knew all things. As man He would know only the things which the divine con sciousness would allow the human con sciousness to retain. In this area the (continued on next page)
