Silver Bowl Series Final

The origins of the Silver Bowl Series Final dates back to 1993 and was first conducted at Moonee Valley as the MVRC/NDRA Series Final. The name Silver Bowl was first used in 1997, with the race finding a new home at Flemington in 2002. The race had a year at Werribee and Bendigo before joining the Winter Series Finals on Flemington Finals Day in July 2009. This series is for three-year-old milers with heats held across Melbourne at Flemington, Caulfield and Sandown. Past winners of the series final include future stakes winners Justadeel, Golden Path, Arran Bay and Buffalo River.
