As Director of Campus Infrastructure and Operational Support Services I have responsibility for ensuring that the university benefits from a world-class physical and digital environment and services that support the University’s mission and vision to be a global 100 research leader. You will be joining at a transformational time for CIOSS. We have brought together 3 professional services teams to create CIOSS, a unified directorate that will deliver a world-class environment that places the University customers at the very heart of what we do. This new era together with our ambitious strategies to enhance our estate, digital, commercial services and sport & ground offerings mean that you will join to play a key role within a dynamic environment with a strong sense of purpose and aspiration. The Director of Commercial, Residential and Campus Services is responsible for leading the strategic and operational development of the University’s portfolio of commercial, residential and campus services, driving income, gaining value and offering exceptional services. This supports our academic vision as well as making an influential financial contribution to the University’s budgets. The Director will shape and drive the University’s commercial assets to maximise and increase the year round returns from the estate and our commercially trading services, whilst leading a team to provide customer focused facilities and hospitality services that support world-class academic activities and exceptional student experience. This role provides the opportunity for an ambitious commercial leader to develop an industry-leading and acclaimed portfolio of commercial, residential and campus services across one of the most diverse and beautiful campus environments in the UK.
