AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN Automotive Technicians carry out routine maintenance, repairs, and services to vehicles to keep them in a roadworthy condition. You’ll need good dexterity to use the range of tools and equipment to repair and service vehicles, good communication skills to explain repairs to your customers and problem-solving skills to diagnose the faults. To be an Automotive Technician you’ll typically study up to Level 3, this can be in the classroom or in the workplace as an Apprentice.
