CONCRETAL ® STAIN

PURELY MINERAL COLORS THAT WILL NOT FADE

Formulating with silica sol and mineral silicate binders coupled

with translucent mineral oxide pigments, ensures both

compatibility with concrete, and a lifetime of color. Natural

earthen pigments are inert and color stable to stand the test of

time, just as Mother Nature intended. And, Concretal Stain can

be applied in any range of translucency, from fully opaque to a

sheer “veil” of color— or any level in between. The creative

options are endless and your ability to modify concrete’s

appearance are unlimited.

At left is a visual representation of how color stain transparency can be varied by the applicator. Mixing pigmented stain with clear Concretal Fixative/Dilution, at most any ratio, delivers a wide array of color choices, from full coverage to only a “hint” of color. Your clients will benefit from unlimited color potential and job-site control. Trial mock-ups on the actual substrate are recommended to determine the optimal mix of stain and fixative.

Can concrete be sexy too? Translucent shimmering

metallic mineral stain makes concrete stunning, and

dare we say sexy? Natural mica pigment is

combined with mineral oxide pigments for a brilliant

finish that will never tarnish or lose its sparkling look.

Metallic stain can be used directly over raw

concrete for a more “organic” and rustic

appearance, or it can be installed over a

coordinating mineral paint color for even more

dazzling effects.

At right, Metallic Stain is installed directly to cast concrete for a truly one-of-a-kind appearance. The slightly muted shimmering effect changes colors throughout the day and in shadow and light.
