COLOR WITH A PURPOSE
The new multi-storey ward building of the Joan Kirner Women's
and Children's Hospital in Melbourne heralds a new approach to
the design of healthcare facilities with its colorful concrete
façade. The livelydesign is intended to provide identification for
patients and visitors, while supporting a feeling of well-being and
reduce stress associated with hospital visits.
