CONCRETAL ® STAIN
PURELY MINERAL COLORS THAT WILL NOT FADE
Formulating with silica sol and mineral silicate binders coupled
with translucent mineral oxide pigments, ensures both
compatibility with concrete, and a lifetime of color. Natural
earthen pigments are inert and color stable to stand the test of
time, just as Mother Nature intended. And, Concretal Stain can
be applied in any range of translucency, from fully opaque to a
sheer “veil” of color— or any level in between. The creative
options are endless and your ability to modify concrete’s
appearance are unlimited.
At left is a visual representation of how color stain transparency can be varied by the applicator. Mixing pigmented stain with clear Concretal Fixative/Dilution, at most any ratio, delivers a wide array of color choices, from full coverage to only a “hint” of color. Your clients will benefit from unlimited color potential and job-site control. Trial mock-ups on the actual substrate are recommended to determine the optimal mix of stain and fixative.
