HEMLOCK, POISON *T* Conium maculatum Life Cycle: Biennial Plant Description:
An erect very tall growing biennial. Primarily a weed of pastures and roadsides. This weed is poisonous to cattle, swine, poultry, horses, goats and sheep that consume it. Stems are erect and branching. Much of the stem is hollow, and distinctly purple-spotted. Clusters of large white flowers emerge in early summer. DuraCor ® herbicide per acre or 24 fluid ounces of NovaGraz ™ herbicide plus 1% MSO v/v per acre. Treat early in the spring when plants are in the rosette stage for best control.
