SWEETCLOVER: WHITE OR YELLOW *T* Melilotus officinalis Life Cycle: Biennial Plant Description: Plants are very similar with yellow sweetclover blooming shorter and
earlier. Plants do not bloom in the first year. Second- year plants are between 3 to 5 feet high and are bush like. Alternate leaves, divided into three finely toothed leaflets; middle leaflet grows on a short stalk.
Treatment: Apply 16 to 20 fluid ounces of DuraCor ® herbicide per acre when weeds are small and actively growing. Increase the rate as the season progresses and plants become more mature.
