In a person's dream, or some­ times even when an individual is conscious, some of the strangest, and seemingly most disjointed, or disassociated thoughts come to­ gether to form a pattern. For instance, I was driving along the freeway, thinking about the doctrine of the Church, and how much is being said and written about it today, especially in the area of the charismatic emphasis. All of a sudden the story of Ichabod Craine and the headless horseman of sleepy hollow was included in my thinking. As I began to evaluate why that particular scene should come on the screen of my mind, I began to associate the two, and to see an
