ZPT GaZette The Newsletter About Your Health And Caring For Your Body

July 2018

Dear ZPT family and friends, We procrastinate for various reasons: to avoid facing the consequences of a decision or action, to avoid judgementof others, to postpone the activity until it is planned perfectly,

Yet another team member is getting married at the end of July, Marissa Wilding. She and her fiance’, Jeff have a home in nearby Anson, and we are thrilled that she will be staying with us to help build the practice and care for our patients with her knowledge and cheerfulness.

or perhaps just to avoid an unpleasant emotion. That last one would be most pertinent to me as I write this letter. This month, we must say farewell tooneofourstellar teammembers,KatiePoisel,as

shemarriesandmoves to southern Indiana to begin her new family with Seth. Although I am really, deep-down happy for Katie, it is a bitter sweet pill to take, to know that we won’t be working side by side like we have since October of 2015. And As we bid Katie farewell, we also welcome her student, Emina Alicusic-Karic, back as a licensed (soon!) physical therapist, with her DPT, our newest team member at ZPT. This month’s emphasis is WALKING, since summer is the time to WALK and hike around Indiana, the time to travel and see other places, and apparently the month to WALK down the aisle to be married! ZPThas been a source of WALKING RESTORATION over the years, with strengthening, balance work, pain relief and post-surgical rehabilitation. Although I have procrastinated saying goodbye to Katie, please don’t be like me… come in and say farewell and offer some great marriage advice. We will have a box for wedding cards and advice for each of the gals getting hitched later this month. Furthermore, don’t procrastinate your need for help, if you are hurting or LIMPING. Get in here to ZPT so we can help address the cause of your WALKING problems and get you back to “LEAP OUT” and do the things you love.

more… I’ve known Katie since she was an infant, and I know what a wonderful young lady she has become, both professionally and personally. Best wishes, hugs…(sniff!)

Patient Success SPOTLIGHT

I Can Walk to See the Sights! “Physical therapy helped my balance greatly. The biggest reason I came to ZPT was so I could walk to see the sights on my trip to England and Italy. I could barely walk on my left foot when I came in. Now, I expect to be able to walk all over Europe!” - Linda G.

Gratefully, Elaine

P.S. “What does the Lord require? To do justice, love kindness, and WALK humbly with your God.” - Micah 6: 6-8

Emina graduated from Gannon University in Erie, Pennsylvania. Emina’s intelligence, sparkling personality and positive energy will be a great addition to our team.
