Beta Omicron Alumnae Reconnect in Amish Country
Members of Beta Omicron-Bowling Green who were initiated between 1979 and 1983 prioritized their lifelong sisterhood over the years by staying in touch with one another, but earlier this fall they amped it up by coordinating a sisters’ weekend trip to Amish country in Holmes County, Ohio.
Seventeen sisters total were split among two cabins for the reunion weekend.

“We had a wonderful time shopping, eating, laughing and reminiscing,” shared Susan Martinson Pledger, one of the Beta Omicron sisters who attended the weekend getaway. “We even had an informal ceremony honoring our late sister Susan Oleff, who [passed away earlier this past year].” However, Susan went on to say that the best part of the entire weekend was blending old memories with the group’s shared new experiences. “The love was palpable,” Susan expressed. “Forty years later and we are still living out our sisterhood vows.”
Boston Sisters
Celebrate Alumnae Weekend Together A group of Eta-Boston sisters who graduated between 1992 and 1994 recently gathered to celebrate Boston University’s alumni weekend by attending a dinner, watching a game at Fenway Park and walking around the university’s new and improved campus. “We had a wonderful time reminiscing about our time at BU and sharing a lot of laughs,” remarked Renee Feldman Baltuch, a member of the Boston Area Alumnae Community.
