Alumnae Communities Celebrate Christmas with Sisterhood

As members all over the world began decking their halls for the holiday season, several of Alpha Phi’s alumnae community organizations carved out time in their busy schedules to prioritize sisterhood. The alumnae communities of Northern Virginia and San Antonio hosted ornament exchanges in December to reunite old friends and help fellow Alpha Phis connect with sisters in their areas all while spreading Christmas cheer. Diane Spry Straker (Delta Alpha-East Carolina) hosts Northern Virginia's alumnae event every year at Christmastime. Her leadership and dedication have left an indelible mark on both our Fraternity and the National Panhellenic Conference (NPC). Serving in various capacities across all levels of Alpha Phi (Vice President of Finance on the International Executive Board (IEB), a tenured Alpha Phi Foundation Chair, a member of the International Housing Committee, NPC Foundation Chairman and various other roles on numerous other committees and boards], Diane has leveraged her extensive business acumen to drive transformative changes in Alpha Phi.  Northern Virginia
