Fotouhi has an extensive background as an experienced en- vironmental attorney who previously served in senior roles at the EPA. During the first term of the Trump Administration, Fotouhi served as EPA’s Acting General Counsel and Principal Deputy General Counsel. Fotouhi returned to the EPA from his role as a partner at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP, where he practiced environmen- tal law on a broad range of issues. He has brought experience in environmental legal and policy issues to his role with the EPA. Fotouhi is a graduate of Vanderbilt University and Harvard Law School and previously served as a law clerk for Judge Ray- mond W. Gruender on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. The RDC would like to welcome David to Alaska and we look forward to his remarks on the issues affecting all of our natural resource industries!
