I AM PROUD TO SHARE WHAT WE DISCOVER
Every issue of Discover Erin reminds me why I’m so proud to help bring this magazine to life. We’re fortunate to live in a community that’s both welcoming and quietly remarkable, and this publication exists to celebrate exactly that: the people, places, and experiences that make the Town of Erin feel like home. One of the joys of putting these pages together is showcasing local shopping and locally owned businesses — those storefronts, studios, services, and farms that keep our town vibrant. When you choose local, you’re not just buying something you need; you’re investing in neighbours, supporting families, and helping the Town of Erin’s main streets and rural routes thrive. We’re equally proud of the event coverage we share, seasonal celebrations, community fundraisers, markets, workshops, recreation programs, and the gatherings that bring us together. Whether you’re looking for something to do this weekend or planning ahead for the busy months to come, our goal is simple; make it easy for residents to stay connected and never miss what’s happening close to home. But Discover Erin is more than listings — it’s a collection
of local stories. It’s the behind-the-scenes work of volunteers and organizers, the passion of entrepreneurs, the creativity of artisans, and the everyday moments that reflect the character of our town. When residents recognize a familiar face on a page or learn something new about a place they pass every day, that’s when this magazine feels most meaningful. If you have a story idea, an upcoming event, a milestone worth celebrating, or a local business you’d like to see featured, I’d love to hear from you. This magazine is at its best when it reflects the full breadth of our community — village life and countryside, longtime residents and newcomers, traditions and fresh ideas. Thank you for reading, sharing, and supporting local, issue after issue. I hope these pages inspire you to explore a little more, shop a little closer to home, and show up for the events and people that make the Town of Erin such a special place to live.
