Key Responsibilities

Project management • Oversee holistic project planning using planned maintenance programmes (PMP), maintenance reports, validation data, and whole lifecycle costing methods in conjunction with the appointed professional teams. • Work with professional teams to create and combine works packages that consider all opportunities to deliver value through the client’s improvement and investment programmes. • Create indicative project programmes, including the identification of key milestone dates and critical path activities and items. • Procure and appoint lead consultants and the necessary professional teams, including consulting MEP and structural engineers, building surveyors, cost consultants etc., to evaluate, design, specify and procure capital works. • Oversee and manage lead consultants to ensure the timely delivery of agreed works packages. • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between all project stakeholders, ensuring timely and accurate information flow, risk management, and financial control. • Work with the property management team, engineering managers and fabric managers to help support on the day-to-day logistical management and impact of the works. • Financial planning and reporting on various funding routes - service charge, forward funding, landlord capital expenditure etc. • Monitor, review, track and approve the lead consultant’s projects team(s) including their reporting, programme management, quality assurance, valuations and financial controls and adherence to the employer’s requirements generally. • Review and interpret third party technical reports on various specialist areas, such as mechanical and electrical engineering, vertical transportation, construction and building restoration, and building access systems. • Project manage small works packages if and when required. • Act as the lead client representative when the client and/or Head of Projects are unable to attend meetings. • Write technical recommendation reports for internal Savills and client reference in conjunction with professional teams. • In conjunction with the Head of Projects assist the Operations Director and Property Managers in their preparation and management of service charge

budgets, to include procurement as per Savills’s policies. • Contribute generally to Savills technical offer, supporting its vision, values and aims and objectives. • Ensure consistent best practice is adopted across the portfolio and advise of any legal/statutory changes that may impact project scopes and/or procurement strategies, especially around health and safety and statutory compliance. • Deputise for the Head of Projects in their absence. General • Support the Property Management team and the Head of People and Culture in the delivery of ESG planning and improvements. • Work with the wider LBC team to support events and community programmes from a technical perspective. Ensure that good relations with all key stakeholders are established and maintained. • Advise the Estate Director and Operations Director immediately of any potential threats or reputational damage, major incidents or accidents resulting from any project. • Support the drive to reduce energy consumption by ensuring the procurement of the most appropriate systems and technology, building-in capabilities to measure and manage performance, including metering, remote monitoring and intelligent buildings systems. • Ensure that the sustainability agenda is fully embraced and implement LBC’s change programme. • Ensure new and refurbished buildings, plant, systems and areas of public realm are handed over in accordance with LBC and Savills’ guidelines as well as in line with industry best practice and current regulations. • Ensure that all health and safety folders, O&Ms and drawings are in place as soon as is reasonably practicable. • To ensure the requisite procurement and project management standards executed in the delivery of the capital programme are commensurate with those standards promoted by Savills’ Engineering Design Consultancy (EDC) and other relevant consultancy teams and specialists. • Attend site during key stages of works and essential works as necessary. Attend site as necessary in the event of any emergency work or call out. This role will lead the delivery of an exciting and challenging range of projects at this prestigious property, which overlooks London Bridge Station, London Bridge and the Thames. It will support the Head of Projects in delivering first-class project and procurement management as a part of the London Bridge City (LBC) team.

The role is ideally suited to someone with initiative, drive and exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills. A client and supply-chain facing role, the Projects Programme Manager will establish, implement and oversee and variety of projects including mechanical and electrical, public health, systems and infrastructure, building fabric, civil engineering and vertical transportation. The role will be responsible for supporting with delivering commercial, technical and operational solutions involving the design, delivery and implementation MEP and VT asset replacement strategies and projects. The Projects Programme Manager will chair and manage the professional teams and main contractors appointed to deliver the works, reporting on progress, finance and risk in conjunction with the Head of Project and Head of Engineering, liaising closely with the Estate Director, Operations Director and the Client.
