CTE Program
CTE stands for career, and technical education. First signed into law in 1917, this alternative curriculum provides students a broader scope of the world and allows students to explore the different careers available for them. One sector in the CTE Industry is the Arts, Media, and Entertainment sector. This is where Scale Leadership Academy thrives, providing professional credentialed intructors who have mastered their fields of study through years of real-life experience.

FULL COURT PRESSURE ENTERTAINMENT
The students are learning what it takes to create a forty-five minute feature film. There are alot of positions that need to be filled in order to complete the project, here are just a few.
What is a DP in a Film Production? DP stands for the director of photography. This role is assigned to help bring the director’s vision to the screen. Today, we interviewed Mr. Brian Romo the DP for our feature film “Full Court Pressure”. And he explained to us the things he does to prepare for a roles like this and answered many other questions. What is an AC in a Film Production? AC stands Assistant Camera. This role is designed to aid the DP in capturing the mode, lighting and angle to help bring the director’s vision to life.

Imagination Makers is a group of CTE credentialed instructors tasked to create and coordinate public events for our students to practice and apply what they are learning in class for real-world projects.

What topics are students able to study? Under the Arts, Media, and Entertainment CTE sector Scale has created the Multimedia Wheel where students are able to study, Audio Production, Digital Marketing, Graphic Design and many more!
Topics like, film, photography, and mass communication are technical careers for the future. These tools and skills our students are learning can be used now to generate revenue online today, and will be used in the future for our students to create their own online brands.

Decoding Digital Marketing I n an enlightening session with Joshua Head, an Acuity CTE instructor for digital marketing, we explored the critical intersection of digital marketing strategies and effective communication. Joshua delved into the fundamental approach’s potential and pitfalls. Data Collection and Analysis: Joshua underscored the importance components, including promotions. He noted that this analysis is often an initial step in designing a marketing strategy, helping teams identify their
scavenger hunt, encouraging listeners to apply these concepts in a practical scenario. Participants are invited to conduct a SWOT analysis on a company, providing hands- on experience in applying these marketing strategies. Joshua Head’s expertise in digital marketing shines through in his discussion of the foundational aspects of the field. His approach to integrating these concepts with practical applications offers a comprehensive understanding that benefits both beginners and experienced marketers. The session concluded with a reminder of the importance of hands-on learning, a core aspect of the Acuity CTE program, where students learn by doing, taking their skills beyond the classroom into real-world applications.

Joshua explained that SWOT - Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats - is an analytical tool that helps assess the effectiveness of various marketing
