His zeal and reverence has garnered him great admiration and placed him in high esteem by those whom he has come in contact throughout collegiate matricula- tion and beyond." In closing, I celebrate Dr. John Cade. I, like many other brothers of Kappa Alpha Psi, appreciate Dr. Cade’s leader- ship and mentorship. He serves as the ultimate example of a Kappa Advi- sor. An Advisor who represents Kappa Alpha Psi. An Advisor who teaches the precepts of Kappa Alpha Psi. An Advisor who assures the success of his assigned undergraduate chapter mem- bers through intrusive advising. I thank Dr. Cade for being the difference that makes the difference. Because of Dr. Cade, countless numbers of Kappa men were taught the art of achieving.
Theta Chapter, comments attest to his commitment to his undergraduate chapter members. Johnson stated, “On behalf of the Alpha Theta Chapter, it is my absolute honor to discuss our experi- ence with Dr. John Cade as the Alpha Theta Chapter's advisor. Immediately upon meeting Dr. Cade, we understood and recognized the selflessness, honor, and fidelity in his character. Dr. Cade has served the Alpha Theta Chapter for nearly 20 years. He has proven himself to be more than simply an advisor but a true mentor, leader and brother. For myself, Dr. Cade has been instrumental in shaping my confidence as a leader and developing my leadership skills. He teaches the significance of executing goals, objectives and responsibilities with precision and punctuality. He has been a blessing for several students as he works tirelessly to assist everyone who needs him, even if it isn't inclu- sive in his responsibilities. Dr. Cade has been for the Alpha Theta Chapter as well as myself, someone that many people unfortunately never experience and that is an amazing role model. Many people respect the position that a man holds, but we respect the man in the position!” In addition to Dr. Cade’s commitment as a Chapter Advisor, he also has positively impacted Kappa by serving on the Na- tional Committees for the Membership Training Academy (MTA) and National
