Pearland-Manvel-Fresno (TX) Alumni is Chartered and Hits the Ground Running with Service
T he Pearland-Manvel-Fresno (TX) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi was chartered on Saturday, February 22, 2020. With the induction proceedings being conducted by Southwestern Province Senior Province Vice Polemarch William Puder. Forty brothers chartered the new chap- ter with nearly half of them reclaimed. The chapters inaugural Polemarch is Dr. Antonio D. Johnson. The chartering members consists of doctors, authors, educators, mental health professionals, school board of- ficials, real estate professionals, military personnel and many more. The mission statement for these brothers are "Build- ing a brotherhood of men for Family, Community and Business." The area is located outside of Houston, Texas and according to a Wallet Hub survey we are the third fastest growing city in the United States. COVID-19 Preparation Helping The Pearland-Manvel-Fresno (TX) Alumni Chapter worked to assist area
children stuck at home from school dur- ing the COVID-19. The brothers from the Pearland-Manvel- Fresno (TX) Alumni Chapter stepping into action for our community again! In an effort to provide children with basic school supplies that they may not have at home during this time of distance learning, The Pearland-Manvel-
Fresno (TX) Alumni Chapter brothers and other community organizations donated packages of school supplies for our Alvin Independent School District students. Over 500 packages of schools supplies were distributed during the food distri- bution.
