TIMELINE: A LOOK BACK THROUGH THE KAPPA ALPHA PSI ® JOURNAL
C. Rodger Wilson
“
Speaking to his chapter, a polemarch of a progressive alumni chapter once said that 'every man of you is a potential polemarch of this chapter." This spirit ought to prevail in every chapter and at every administra- tive level. The real emphasis need not be upon the actual achievement of the office as such, but upon attitudes and a quality of performance which reflects brotherhood and sincere interest in Kappa Alpha Psi. Every man is a potential grand polemarch. But somewhere up and down the line there should be manifested the energy, the will- ingness, the altruism, and the capacity de- manded of effective leadership. Measured contributions, explanations and apologies are poor substitutes for successful perfor- mance. 16 th Grand Polemarch C. Rodger Wilson, T he Kappa Alpha Psi Journal, October 1955, Vol. 41, Num. 3.
