Based in New York, Philip Gorrivan Design was established in 2001. With a strong background in the decorative arts, art history and a discipline honed from several years in the business sector, Philip is famed for his clever sense of colour and refined eye for furnishings. The Gorrivan 01 clearly reflects this aesthetic. The collaborative design features a shapely headboard upholstered in a striking checked fabric taken from Philip’s range for Duralee. Named Highland Court, the 100% wool fabric features a subtle hounds-tooth and check print in patina and olive shades. His design for Savoir uses a statement shade that is also versatile and can be adaptable to a whole range of schemes and interior styles.
