A graduate from the Ecole Camondo in Paris, with a degree in interior architecture and design, Robert Couturier moved to New York in 1981. He quickly established his own practice, which has been recognised in, among other media, Architectural Digest’s prestigious annual list of the world’s best decorators and architectural firms and the Wall Street Journal. Best known for his sophisticated, refined aesthetic, along with his mix of continental and international style, Robert Couturier’s collaboration with Savoir features a crisp, glacial colour palette complemented with a sleigh-style silhouette. Both the unusual shape and arctic colourway of Couturier’s design evoke the perfect winter style.
