Authors and Researchers This version of the Native Ways of Knowing Mock Trial Facilitator Guide Book has been shared as an open resource for the purposes of teaching Cherokee History and Lifeways. The authors and researchers are committed to share this material as a way to help teachers and schools educate children and youth about the diverse histories, cultures and contributions of Native peoples. The intention is to continue to decolonize classroom spaces with culturally responsive resources that improve representations and safe spaces for teaching and learning about the nation’s First People.
