January is a time for new beginnings and setting your expectations and goals for 2019. I also think it’s a season of reflection, a chance to look back over the previous year to see what you may have learned and how far you’ve come. This can be done for personal gain, in order to improve yourself, or for business, to better serve the people who seek your services.

enjoyed getting to know him. Paco is a genius, and I learned a lot from him. He has this unwavering passion for everything he does which energizes those around him. Paco practically spent his entire life within the Florida community, and as a result, he knows it inside and out. Maybe that’s why he is incredibly in tune with what’s best for him and his neighbors. More likely, it’s because Paco is very detail oriented, so he tends to pay attention to many intricacies that anyone else might gloss over. He works as an engineer, and his ability to focus suits him and his profession. Normally, a detail-oriented personality like his would drive me up the wall. However, his charisma balances him out perfectly. He’s the type of guy that makes you feel almost as though you’re talking to a family member when you speak to him— just a comfortable guy to be around. I would go on naming every one of our customers, but sadly, I don’t have enough room in this newsletter to do so. In truth, every one of the customers who comes through US Solar affects the whole team. We learn something new every day, and all the credit for that goes to our customers. You can pick up so much from the people you encounter on a daily basis, and that’s something we don’t take for granted. As we enter 2019, I want to thank all of our customers who have chosen this local solar company, and who have supported us over the years. We’ve gleaned so much from you, and no one at US Solar can thank you enough for everything you’ve done for us. In this new year, we’re looking forward to meeting many other people in our community, and continuing to learn and grow. –Seann Gates

Over the years at US Solar, I’ve met and worked with many wonderful people in the Florida community. I seem to learn a new lesson or have an eye-opening experience with almost every encounter. I really enjoy meeting new people and getting to know them, because you really never know what fact or life lesson you might learn from someone. The military is a big part of the community here, and I’ve had the pleasure of meeting and working with men who served, such as Jay Kinnie, Charles Greer, and David Macon. From each of these individuals, I learned the value of excellence and how to keep a high standard, which is essential. Our company strives to give high-standard solutions to our customers switching to solar power. Anything less won’t work for us. These men helped me explore new and better ways to do business, which means the world to me. To this day, I use the lessons I learned from them, not only to improve myself as a business owner but also to make US Solar better today than it was yesterday.

There is someone in particular who is very dear to me — Paco Amram. I first met Paco through a series of people who referred him to me, and I truly
