PAYMENT, BOARDING AND TERMS Passengers must be in line and ready to board at least 30 minutes prior to travel time. Please have e-tickets ready at the time of boarding on a personal digital device or printed out ahead of time. If passengers have questions about their ticket or the trip to Catalina, Catalina Express ticket agents are ready to help at the ticket counter. Gates close 5 minutes prior to departure time, ending the boarding process. Passengers not boarded prior to the boarding process ending will have forfeited their seats and will not be subject to a refund. Credit card payment is required for reservations made through our call center or online. Reservations made at the ticket window in all Catalina Express’ terminals can be paid with a credit card or cash. All major credit cards are accepted. Schedules, prices and terms subject to change without notice in accordance with the California Public Utilities Baggage allowance is two bags per person, maximum of 50 lbs. per bag; tagged with identification, maximum dimensions of 23”x23”x37”. One additional piece of carry-on is allowed at maximum dimensions of 12”x12”x24”. Additional information is available for allowances of strollers, scuba gear, bikes and more through the customer contact center. Passengers with bikes or surfboards must have a reservation for these items at the time of booking and have a waiver signed before boarding the vessel. Electric bikes must have moving Commission. ANIMALS All pets must have a reservation and a signed pet waiver prior to boarding the vessel. In the terminal, during the boarding process and throughout the duration of the trip, pets must be enclosed in an airline-style pet carrier OR leashed and muzzled. One pet per person. Oversized, overweight items can be sent to the Island via one of Catalina’s freight services. SAFETY FIRST Safety aboard Catalina Express’ vessels is our number one priority. Please be aware of the following important travel advice: LISTEN TO THE CAPTAIN’S ANNOUNCEMENT made at the time of departure. The instructions include the location of life vests and rafts, moving about the vessel, non- smoking policy and more. PAY ATTENTION TO THE CREW MEMBER’S demonstration of donning the life vest. TAKE CARE WHEN MOVING THROUGHOUT THE VESSEL. Children are to remain seated. ALWAYS FOLLOW ANY INSTRUCTIONS made at the time of departure. UNRULY PASSENGERS WILL BE REPORTED to the U.S. Coast Guard.
