CULTURE BREAKFAST: Looking for a breakfast that will fuel your day? Head to Café Metropole which offers gluten-free, vegan, vegetarian and paleo options. Try a fresh-pressed juice or acai bowl to begin the morning with a healthy start. MORNING & LUNCH: Explore the recently renovated Arabian Horse Ranch on the Tour of El Rancho Escondido in Catalina’s interior. Take in the rich history of one of Catalina Island’s spectacular landmarks. Included in the tour, is a stop at Airport in the Sky for a casual al fresco lunch. AFTERNOON: Step back in time to reveal the secrets of the iconic masterpiece, the Catalina Casino , from the first theater built specifically for “talkies” to the world’s largest circular ballroom where thousands once danced the night away. The Casino offers general admission tickets for visitors who would like to explore at their own pace or reserve a tour with a knowledgeable guide. DINNER: After a full day of learning about the Island’s culture, dine oceanside at The M Restaurant . With an Italian flair, the restaurant features fresh seasonal ingredients and local seafood ideal to make your meal extraordinary. DAY TWO MORNING: Visit local galleries to find the perfect keepsake and view the historic Catalina tile artwork that is found all around town.
