ES B34 • When something works we kind of stick with it and WC Fort Knox X ES F83 seems to be a slam dunk. This is the 3rd time for this mating with all three being heifers. We keep telling ourselves we need to keep one but somehow they end up in the sale catalog. • The first sister, ES Autumn J113, was Seth Kaehler’s selection when we sold pick of the open heifers on the One and Only Sale in Denver. The 2nd full sister went to Fenton Farms, Oklahoma in last year’s sale, they averaged $15,500. • The 1st two we sold were red, not only is ES M77 black, but she’s a baldy also. Bred to ES Maxx, who I just saw this morning and I’m even more excited to see his 1st calf crop.

• Last year we offered pick of four full sisters out of our F113 cow which was selected by ST Genetics for $21,000. All four heifers were great to work with as were the three full brothers. • The three full brothers averaged $13,000 and went to great operations like Vaughn Thorstenson, Dallas Enos and Darren Beitelspacher. • Of the three females remaining, ES M149 struck us as the elegant one having the nice feminine head and neck yet with a lot of rib shape. Bred to our leadoff Galileo son, ES Maxx, who from a maternal standpoint we can’t wait to see his offspring.
