A Note from Our Nutritionist... I am honored to serve as the nutritionist for the Great Lakes Beef group. It is a please to see the industry continue to recognize the growth and added efficiency these cattle bring to the Simmental breed. Although John and his group are not located in the heart of cattle country, their bulls are the kind that will excel in any environment and I encourage you to critically evaluate these cattle. The Great Lake Beef group continues to raise some of the most feed efficient group of bulls I have the opportunity to serve. These bulls are developed on a high roughage, low starch, growing ration designed with adequate protein to drive muscle growth, high levels of trace minerals to promote reproductive development and moderate energy to keep them lean and athletic. If you still sell cattle by the pound and want to do so with the least feed inputs possible, the Great Lakes Beef Connection bull lineup deserves your review.
