looking forward to being a part of your “Let’s Talk Trash” Newspaper. I draw hidden picture puzzles for over 200 newspapers and
magazines--even ones in foreign countries. I’m also an illustrator and some of my Hidden Treasures books have over 1,600 hidden items. I hope you enjoy my hidden pictures in your newspaper. Maybe you and your friends can have a contest to see who finds all the hidden items first! You can also check my website for an interactive puzzle and other hidden pictures until the next issue of your school’s newspaper is published. As a child, one of Liz’s dreams was to illustrate a kid’s book — instead she majored in Tool and Die Engineering and helped design machines. In 1991, Liz turned her love of freehand art into a full time job and now spends her days drawing hidden pictures with frogs, mice and other delightful characters. Her puzzles appeal to all ages, not just kids, and are recommended by doctors, teachers, and parents to help improve eye coordination, spatial skills, memory retention and concentration. Liz is a member of SCBWI (Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators) and is a frequent speaker at schools, libraries and writers’ conferences where she delights audiences with her sketches.
