The transaction marks the second acquisition for AAi’s la- bel platform and a step forward in its strategy of partner- ing with founder and family-owned label converters across North America. Siegwerk, a global provider of printing inks and coatings for packaging and label applications, is further expanding its footprint in the United States and Canada targeted in- vestments. These focus on increasing production capac- ity, enhancing operational efficiency, and advancing sus- tainable infrastructure. As part of its strategic agenda FORMULA 2030, Siegw- erk is committed to significantly investing in the modern- ization and expansion of its global production network to further strengthen its competitiveness and create long- term value for its customers. “FORMULA 2030 is about translating our global stra- tegic direction into concrete regional initiatives that cre- ate value for our customers and strengthen our business over the long term,” said Christopher van Laack, President Americas and Group Executive Member at Siegwerk. At Siegwerk’s site in Des Moines, Iowa, several projects are underway to expand capacity and improve operational efficiency.
