GROUP 9 - Lot 112 is a complete outcross purebred that you will not find anywhere else in the country. And add to that a purebred female that is Top 10% of the breed for marbling. Big time opportunity right in front of you with this Lot 112 heifer. Marbling is the new craze and this girl could be a missing link to the puzzle!

GROUP 12 - Longevity, longevity, longevity!!! Most females will not reach profitability status until they are 4 years of age. This Lot 116 dam is a high producing 12 year old cow in our herd. If I was going to be purchasing females in this cattle cycle, I would want them to come with some guarantees. Having a pedigree with proven and consistent long term production is as good as it gets!!

GROUP 9 - Just last year, this H0249 raised our high selling bull that sold to Davidson Gelbvieh up in Canada. We actually have our first calves on the ground out of BNC Gentleman L406 and they are fantastic! This Lot 113 has the pedigree with a proven track record. I love these high percentage females. If I were to build the national cow herd back up, I would do it with females like this!

GROUP 12 - Black purebred females that are top 4% for CE and top 20% for BW just don’t come around real often. There are new indexes that came out in the AGA last fall that we were encouraged to use as a tool. This girl is top 4% for FPI (Feeder profit Index) and top 1% for TPI ( Total Profit Index).

GROUP 9 - Homo Black and Homo polled female with top 10% growth and the actual performance to back it up! 636 pounds at weaning puts her at the top end of female weaning weight performances! With Great Divide on the dam side, I know this girl will be a milking machine! All of our Great Divide females are power hitters for us. This young female will have a very bright future. Just make sure you are the one to give her a shot!!

GROUP 12 - These unrivaled females have opened countless new breeding opportunities. Several of these current AI sires are just too small. Certainly too small for what we want in the upper Midwest. These females will have great frame size that will allow for a lot of flexibility when breeding season rolls around.

GROUP 13 - It is hard to see any Class Action female leave the place but we have collected so many of them over the years that we just have enough of them. They have proven to have great udder quality and have superb disposition, especially post calving. Nobody likes a wound up female in the calving barn. Take this girl home and let her be an asset for you!!

GROUP 9 - My opinion of the importance of high growth traits in bulls or females is that they are as important as rain in July and August. You just have to have them, in one or the other for sure. Do not worry for a second about the 2.2 BW on this girl. Because by definition, that only means her calf is projected to be 2.2 pounds about average. I would be more enamored with the high growth potential she most certainly will provide!!
