Awakenings offers a wide range of products, including essential oils, candles, crystals and singing bowls, as well as services intended to target self- care and well-being, like therapy sessions, spiritual coaching, divinatory card readings, aura cleansing and group meditation. Location was one of the biggest factors motivating Awakenings to select their current retail space in Baton Rouge. The shop supports businesses throughout the community, such as authors and publishers through book sales and written materials, artisan craftsmen by offering handmade crystals and jewelry, and even by hosting fundraisers for clients. Awakenings needed that perfect space to fill their needs. Working with
St. John Properties, the business found two adjoining suites, so Awakenings could offer both products and services from one location. Speaks was impressed by the building quality, as well as the on-site parking. Add that to the direct visibility along Airline Highway, and the location at Barringer Crossing II was a winner.
