FIELD AND SUPPORT OPERATIONS
The Henry County Sheriff’s Office Field and Support Operations has a staff of dedicated men and women who are well-trained to provide comprehensive law enforcement services to Henry County. Our deputies and civilian staff are engaged in the community they serve and understand how important it is to build lasting relationships with county leaders, local businesses, and our amazing community. During 2023, we conducted 2,701 criminal arrests, cleared 5,623 warrants, extradited 58 prisoners, and cleared approximately 35,032 civil documents. With the unwavering commitment of our Special Investigations Team, we successfully brought to justice forty (40) of the most egregious offenders who have committed one of the “Seven Deadly Sins”, including murder, rape, and armed robbery. We are also excited to have partnered with the U.S. Marshals Service and placed a task force officer with their team to apprehend dangerous fugitives. Moreover, we are proud to have increased our training capabilities in crowd control, less lethal weapons, and response to critical incidents in our jail and the community we serve. We were also awarded a COPS Grant in the amount of $128,471.20, which allowed us to increase our capabilities for active threat response with the purchase of ballistic shields and breaching tools. Lastly, our dedicated Community Relations Team participated in over 80 community events that allowed HCSO members to listen, understand, and validate (L.U.V.) the citizens of Henry County. Our team understands the importance of striving for excellence as we serve with integrity, impartiality, and continue fostering the Sheriff’s “Top 6” goals for our agency.
I am proud to be the commander of this amazing team.
