FIELD AND SUPPORT OPERATIONS
The Telecommunications (Telcom) Unit is the backbone of the Field and Support Operations. It manages confidential data entered, validated, and cleared in the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) and the Georgia Crime Information Center (GCIC) database. Members of the Telecom Unit routinely communicate and coordinate with local and out of state law enforcement agencies and maintain a professional relationship with our local state and superior court system. Overall, the unit is dedicated to ensuring that the HCSO stays in compliance with NCIC and GCIC regulations. TELECOMUNICATIONS UNIT The Civil Unit specializes in the handling of service and execution of legal documents related to civil matters. Moreover, the unit is responsible for ensuring the proper delivery and execution of various legal documents such as evictions, writs of possession, temporary protective orders, subpoenas, summonses, garnishments, probate notices and the collection of other judgements, issued by the courts and other judicial authorities. Their role is crucial in ensuring that the civil process is conducted in a fair, transparent, and lawful manner, contributing to the overall functioning of the judicial system. CIVIL UNIT The Special Investigations Unit (SIU) is a specialized unit that focuses on complex and often covert investigations into serious criminal activities. This unit is typically tasked with handling cases that go beyond routine law enforcement matters involving organized crime, narcotics, gang activity, and other high-level criminal enterprises. The men and women of the SIU are dedicated to protecting the citizens of Henry County and preserving the quality of life in our communities. SPECIAL INVESTIGATIONS UNIT
