In 2023, HCSO Human Resources pursued a strategic recruitment plan aimed at attracting diverse and qualified candidates that mirror the community's racial, ethnic, and gender composition. Collaborations with organizations like the Latin American Association extended outreach efforts. In addition, the HCSO Human Resources Unit implemented a Relocation Supplement Program, aiding eligible new hires with their relocation costs. It also oversaw promotional boards for Corporals, Sergeants, and Lieutenant positions, fostering internal advancement opportunities within the agency.
