Since 1979 much has changed in the real estate business and if you don't adapt this industry will pass you by; for 37 years I have pushed ahead and I strive to be at the top of the market year in and year out. At an age when most of my friends and peers are retiring I continue to compete and supersede agent's a third of my age, and that's when I realize experience and trust does count for something. I am the proud owner of my own RE/MAX Brokerage...not because I am unemployable...as my children might say... but because I love this business through all its ups and downs. Any successful real estate agent can tell you that this business is truly a 24/7 Ca- reer. It involves much sacrifice and it becomes a large part of your life, it's NOT a job that is con- fined by hours, weekends and even holidays. My husband Gord has been selling Real Estate for 45 years and 2 out of our four children are also selling. Who would have thought!! I am involved in my community and care deeply about the area! I now know why I had 4 children... so I could be the proud Nana of 5 Grandchildren! There is never a dull moment in my life and my home is always open to friends and family for a glass of wine! That is my life and that is how I like it!
