Eilers constantly donates his services without charge. Here he talks ' to a group of 16 and 17-year-old boys in a California sheriff’s center, telling them that life, like a rope, can get pretty knotty at times.

When Eilers tosses a rope into the crowd, pull­ ing an unsuspecting victim to his feet, his audience is usually taken pretty much off guard.

In addition to the ministry of evangelism, the Eilers have used their ranch to take care of some 130 unwanted or needy children. They now have the Roman Krivonos family from Austria living with them. Krivonos lost an arm during war; met his wife in D.P. camp. Here he cinches saddle for Eilers.
