ADJUSTABLE PORT AIR VALVE ADJUSTMENTS
The valve arm opens and closes this valve in the manner of a rotary plug valve. The valve size can be adjusted by screwing the curtain up or down.
1. Open all air valves in system for highest flow. 2. Set controller to run valve to full open position. 3. Install gauge in air line near burner expected, due to piping, to have the lowest air pressure. 4. Loosen curtain locking screw until adjusting knob is free to turn. 5. Turn knob clockwise until curtain is wide open or until gauge indicates highest pressure. 6. Turn knob counterclockwise until pressure at gauge drops slightly or until desired high fire air pressure is shown. 7. Tighten locking screw through a hole in the knob. 8. Proceed as in linkage adjustment instructions (page 59 and 60) to set for open position at "high" and desired air pressure at "low."
