ENVIRONMENTAL EXPLORERS On you marks … get set ... EXPLORE! Environmental Explorers is a free, nature-based education program for children of all ages. Participants can expect to sing songs and hear stories while applying STEM concepts to explore the natural environment around the DFNC. Preregistration is required to attend this program, and parents/guardians are required to stay with children during the program. Multiple offerings of the same program will take place each month.
These specialty, nature-themed camps are designed to bring children closer to nature and foster a further love and understanding of the natural world. Each day of these weeklong camps will be filled with exploration and educational lessons about Texas wildlife, habitats and more. Programs are designed to be developmentally appropriate, and participants must be of the ages listed by the first day of camp.
