GUIDED NATURE HIKES Guided Nature Hikes with the DFNC are family-friendly hikes that take place along the Clear Creek Trail. Small groups of participants, with our staff at the lead, will seek out animal tracks, important habitats and plants and will search for wildlife during the hike. You’ll have an opportunity to learn from our knowledgeable staff about the natural environment and wildlife found along the Clear Creek Trail in Shadow Creek Ranch. A participating adult must accompany anyone under the age of 18.

GUIDED NIGHT HIKES Guided Night Hikes with the DFNC are family-friendly evening hikes that take place at different nature hot- spots around Pearland. Each hike is tailored to search for different varieties of local nocturnal wildlife on Wild Night Hikes, Owl Prowls and Bat Walks! You’ll have an opportunity to learn from our knowledgeable staff about the natural environment and wildlife found along the Clear Creek Trail. Small groups of participants, with our staff at the lead, seek out interesting features, important habitats and visiting wildlife during the hike. A participating adult must accompany anyone under the age of 18.

OUTDOOR COOKING WORKSHOP Cooking outdoors doesn’t have to be complicated! In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn from REI-Baybrook staff about the different outdoor cooking equipment options, how to prepare food for your next adventure, how to put together the perfect meal from beginning to end, and tips and tricks on cleaning and caring for your cooking equipment. We’ll provide all the equipment and ingredients. No experience necessary. Just come hungry! Sat., July 29 / 5 - 7 p.m. $15 18+ years DFNC
