Person Specification An experienced, professionally qualified individual with a flexible approach to work. Must be mobile and able to travel across the region using their own vehicle (mileage rate applies).

• Salary of circa £55,000 • 25 days annual leave statutory plus bank holidays • 45p per mile for all work journeys is provided • Sick pay entitlement after 1 month.

You will have great attention to detail and be able to manage both contractors and the relationship with your peers across the business.

Personal Attributes

• Proven experience of delivering similar works. • Extremely organised and able to manage complex workloads. • Full working knowledge of property compliance in a housing or supported living setting. • Experience of delivering carbon reduction and sustainability projects. • Excellent IT skills (MS Office and Excel to intermediate standard). • Report writing and options appraisals for property solutions.

Knowledge & Experience

Essential: • Significant knowledge/understanding of Property construction methods, CDM requirements, maintenance and repair. • Management of contractors and suppliers respectfully. • Detailed understanding of Project management techniques/governance • A strong understanding of Statutory compliance requirements in regard to property, such as Fire, Asbestos, Water Hygiene, Gas and Electrical. • Experience of Asset Management Systems. • Experience in a social housing, supported living charity or similar residential not-for- profit organisation. • Exceptional stakeholder management experience; working closely and collaboratively with service users and their families.

• Experience of managing new build, infrastructure and refurbishment projects. • Excellent written and verbal presentation and communications skills. • Experience of writing and presenting reports and Project updates for senior management. • Experience in leading people (in-direct and potentially direct reports) Desirable • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role. • Experience in scheduling and delivering programmes of work. • Experience of similar ‘social value’ enterprises with environmental credentials

Qualifications

Essential: • FRICS, MRICS, AssocRICS or MCIOB accredited professional qualification. • IOSH/NEBOSH Desirable • Project management qualification (e.g. APM, Prince2) or suitable experience in managing similar projects. Other • Full, clean driving licence • Supportive of Camphill Village Trust values. • Satisfactory standard DBS check. • Ability to be flexible, willing to travel and stay away overnight on occasions.
