The Circle for Re-entry: A Mis- sion to Reduce Recidivism Transforming Lives Through Reentry, Intervention, and Education Lima UMADAOP:

The Lima UMADAOP communi- ty-based program's primary mis- sion is to ease the transition from incarceration to freedom for pris- oners, ultimately reducing the num- ber of reentry individuals being ar- rested and returning to prisons and jails. This vital initiative includes prevention staff who venture into prisons and jails to provide educa- tion on violence, alcohol, tobacco, and substance abuse programming. Reentry individuals are given ac- cess to evidence-based curricula, including "Creating Lasting Family Connections" and "Violence, Al- cohol, Tobacco, and other Drugs (VATOD)" prevention education classes. Lima UMADAOP profes- sionals also offer invaluable peer mentoring and coaching, providing crucial support during the reentry
