You will complete the class with a gorgeous hand- turned plate, suitable for gift giving or pairs nicely with the handmade bowl from the bowl turning class. $20 materials fee is payable to the instructor. Beachwood Trivia Challenge Instructor: Community Services Did you hear Team Beachwood placed 4th in the 2023 Mind Challenge for the New Majority Trivia Games? With inspiration from them and the Mind Challenge program, we are moving forward with a monthly trivia game! This get together will have you really thinking and having fun.
Join Kurt Klimko, a professional woodworker for more than 30 years and make a beautiful wooden counter stool. This stool will be perfect for an extra stool in the kitchen or at the social area in your basement. Supply fee payable to the instructor. Drawing Class Instructor: Marlene Weinstein Exploring light, composition and color, we will experiment with different materials including charcoal, graphite, pastels and colored pencils. Demonstrations, visual examples and handouts will be provided as well as individual attention. All levels welcome whether novice or experienced hand. Supply list provided upon registration. Supplies to be purchased by participant.

The Mind Challenge Compete with Team Beachwood!
$5.00 due at first class, which covers additional supplies not found on list. In each 6 week session, we will go deeper into one genre. Enjoy Academic Challenge or trivia? Ever want to be part of the team? If so, represent the City of Beachwood in the NEO Mind Challenge for the New Majority, coordinated by SCORE Communications, a local marketing firm. Local municipalities compete against others throughout the Northeast Ohio region. Team Beachwood placed 4th in the 2023 Mind Challenge and we are looking forward to another strong run in the tournament!!! Play begins mid-April at a neighboring community center and finals at the Beachwood Community Center are scheduled for the end of May.
