VISION CONSTRUCTION

GETTING STARTED

Having just completed our strategic plan, we are preparing to mobilize our plan, approach and resources to construct the visions from that strategic plan.

To realize our visions, we will frame our plan, establish a governance approach for program decisioning, identify resources, establish projects and manage them to completion..

DESIGN, BUILD, RUN We will construct each vision snapshot with the critical initiative project through the three phases DESIGN the vision, BUILD the new processes and RUN the new operations.

MOBILIZE We recommend NSBE and SPTF mobilize its strategic plan implementation by taking the critical initiatives through a project planning process that includes building a project brief, determining resources required.

KEY SUCCESS FACTORS FOR STRATEGIC PLAN IMPLEMENTATION

• Align initiatives with the strategy. Prioritize eorts to focus on initiatives that move the organization forward, rather than maintain the status quo. • Position the organization to deliver change. Develop a culture that supports and rewards solid processes and the achievement of outcomes. • Manage a collection of projects. Holistically manage resources and interactions across projects to minimize durations and maximize benefits attained (ROI). • Eectively manage information. Quantify and market the value attained to key stakeholder groups; consolidate key project metrics to foster timely, accurate communication. • Implement a consistent delivery framework. Utilize a consistent project management methodology (processes, techniques, tools) to ensure consistency.
