Intensify colours with multiple layers of ink: By going over the same ink colour multiple times, the colour saturation and colour density can be enhanced and colour gradients can be created. Mixing colours New interesting shades can be created by layering two or more different colours. Realising colour gradients with one or more colours is possible as long as the ink is still wet on the paper.
Tip-to-tip blending is suitable for thin areas where you don’t have enough space to get a blend using other techniques. Use a light colour as your brush, then carefully add a bit of a darker colour to the tip. This technique can also be used to blend colours from different colour families.
