Security Protecting Your Information General Guidelines • Make sure your operating system and antivirus software are up to date. • Always use secure wireless (WiFi) networks that require a login ID and password. • Never leave your computer unattended while using online banking. • Monitor your recent account history for unauthorized transactions. • Always log off of online banking when you’re finished and close the browser. Login ID and password • Create strong passwords by using a mixture of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers and special characters. • We recommend that you change your password every 3 months. • Memorize your passwords instead of writing them down. • Only register personal devices, and avoid using features that save your login IDs and passwords. Fraud Prevention • Do not open email attachments or click on links from unknown sources. • Avoid giving out personal information on the phone or through email. • Shred unwanted, sensitive documents including receipts, checks, deposit slips, pre-approved credit card offers and expired cards. • Act quickly. If you suspect your financial information is compromised, contact us immediately at 508.634.2500 or toll free at 800.478.6990.

Getting Started User Enrollment
Self-Enrollment
If you’re new to Online Banking with Milford Federal, you will need to complete the enrollment process the first time you log in. Once you complete these few quick steps, you’ll be on your way to banking from anywhere! 1. Navigate to www.milfordfederal.com and click on the Online Banking Login box on the top right hand side of the page. 2. Click the Register – Personal link 3. Review the Consumer Online Banking Agreement and click the I agree button to agree to the terms and conditions. 4. Fill out the Registration form and click the Submit button. (All fields are required)
Note: The details you provide are verified by comparing them to your information in our system. If the information does not match, contact us at 800.478.6990 to update your profile.
5. Create your User ID and Password and click the Register button when you are finished.

Logging in After Enrollment
After your first-time enrollment, logging in is easy and only requires your User ID and password.
1. Enter your User ID and password. 2. Click the Log In button.
Note: If you enter an incorrect password or User ID too many times, you will get a message similar to the one show below. Your account will be locked. Contact us at 800.478.6990 for assistance. You can also use the steps in the “Resetting a Forgotten Password” below to reset your password.
Logging Off
For your security, you should always log off when you finish your online banking session. You may also be logged out due to inactivity. At the top right corner of the page, click Logout . 1. Close your browser.

Retrieve a Forgotten User ID
If you happen to forget your User ID, you can easily retrieve your User ID from the Milford Federal Online Banking log in page – no need to call us. Click the Forgot your user ID? link.

Complete all required fields (marked with an asterisk) and at least one of the options fields. Click Submit .

As a security precaution, we need to verify your identity before you can proceed. Choose one of the options presented.
If successful, you will receive the message below. An email will be sent to you with your User ID.

Resetting a Forgotten Password
If you happen to forget your password, you can easily create a new one from the Milford Federal Online Banking login page – no need to call us!

Account Summary Page Summary Page Overview
After logging in, you are taken directly to the Account Summary Page. This page lists all your deposit accounts along with your Available Balances. Also listed, is your loan account(s) along with the Current Balance and Amount Due, if applicable. You will also see a Total Balances box. This will give you a total balance of all deposit and loan accounts. On this screen, you will see a Quick Transfer box. Rather than doing an account transfer via the Transfers feature, you can do the transfer on this screen.
Note: Using the Quick Transfer option, you are not able to enter a personalized description of the transfer. This can only be done via the Transfers module.

You also have the options to Search for a particular account or you can change the order of how your accounts are listed by using the Edit Accounts View option. Search

Once changes have been made, click Save .
Account History
Selecting an account on the Account Summary page will bring you to the current transaction history, Available Balance and Current Balance for that account. You will also see additional options for the account including, History Search/Download, Details, Alerts, eStatements and Settings.

History - Search or Download
Selecting Search will allow you to search transaction history by transaction type, date range, description, or check number and amount.

Selecting Download will allow you to export your account history or account balances. You can download as a .csv, .pdf or Excel file.

Details
The Detail option will bring you additional information on your account, such as account type, date opened, current balance, rate, etc. You can also use this option to change the Account Nickname or Show Full Account Number.

Move Money Transfers
When you need to make a one-time or recurring transfer between your Milford Federal accounts, you can use the Transfers feature. These transactions go through automatically, so your money is always where you need it to be.
In the top menu bar, click Transfers > Transfers .
Immediate Transfer
-Select From and To accounts. -Enter Amount. -Under the Schedule drop-down, select “Immediate (One Time)”. -Enter a Description (optional). -Click Continue .

Future (One Time) Transfer
-Select “Future (One Time)” under Schedule. -Enter date you would like transfer to process in the Send On field. -Enter a Description (optional). -Click Continue.

Recurring Transfer
-Select “Recurring” using the Schedule drop-down. -Select a frequency using the Frequency drop-down. -Enter a Start Date. -Choose how long the transfer should occur under the Duration drop-down. -Enter a Description (optional). -Click Continue .

You will come to the Review Transfer screen. Review information. Click Transfer . (You can also edit the transfer from this page using the Edit Transfer link).

Transfer Activity Selecting Transfer Activity will bring you to where you can view your scheduled transfers, transfer history, and other scheduled transactions. You can also edit or cancel a transfer.

NOTE: Other Scheduled Transactions are transfers that are set up by Milford Federal internally (not by the customer).
Cancel or Edit a Scheduled or Recurring Transfer To cancel a scheduled or recurring transfer, click on the arrow next to the transfer you want to cancel. Click Cancel Transfer .

You will receive a message to verify that you want to cancel the transfer. Click Cancel Transfer .
You will receive a message confirming that the transfer was canceled.
To edit a scheduled or recurring transfer, click on the arrow next to the transfer you want to edit. Click Edit Transfer .

Make your changes. Click Continue .

Rejected and Canceled Transfers On the Transfer Activity screen, you can view rejected or canceled transfers. Click the box next to Show Rejected and Canceled Transfers.

Transfer Accounts Selecting Transfer Accounts will bring you to your list of external accounts (accounts at another institution) and unlinked accounts (someone else’s account at Milford Federal).

External Account Your private accounts at other financial institutions can be linked to your online banking with Milford Federal, so you can transfer money between two banks without ever leaving home!
Note: We require that you be an owner on the external account.
As a security precaution, this feature is not available upon registration. To activate this feature, please contact us at 800.478.6990.
Add an External Account From the Transfer Accounts screen, you can add or remove an external or unlinked account.
Click on Add Account .
Select My account at another financial institution .

Complete all fields > click Add Account .
You will see this account listed under your External Accounts list. You will also see a Verify link next to the account. To verify this account, two small transactions will be sent to this account within the next 3 days. Once you receive these transactions, click on the Verify link.

Enter the two transaction amounts, then click Verify . You are now able to transfer in and out of your external account.

To Remove an External Account To remove an external account, click on the arrow in front of the external account you wish to remove.
Click on Remove Account.
Note: You can also Verify and Edit the account from this screen.

Unlinked Account Adding an unlinked account If you have a friend or relative that also banks through Milford Federal, an unlinked account will allow you to transfer money to them immediately
Note: You can only transfer into these accounts.
Click on Add Account .
Select ‘Someone else’s account at Milford Federal Bank’.

Remove an Unlinked Account Click on the arrow in front of the external account you wish to remove.
Click on Remove Account.
Note: You can also Edit the account from this screen.

Loan Transfers When you need to make a one-time payment or recurring payment to a Milford Federal loan, you can use the Transfers feature. Making a Loan Payment You can make a loan payment by using the Transfers feature or the Pay Now option found on the Account Summary page.
From the Account Summary page, you will see a Pay Now button next to your loan account. ( Note: The Pay Now button will appear 2 weeks prior to loan payment being made.)
OR click on Transfers on the Account Summary page and select Transfers .

Both options will bring you to the Make a Transfer screen. Select account you want to transfer the funds from and the loan you would like the transfer made to.

The next step is to choose a Payment Option.
Note: When using an external account to transfer from, you cannot use the Principal-Only Payment option.

The last step is choosing a Schedule. In this example, we are using the Immediate (One time) option. See below for examples of Future and Recurring options.
Future (One Time) option Once you have select the Future (One Time) option, the Send On field will appear. Select the date that you would like this transfer to be made.

Recurring option Once you have selected Recurring option, the Frequency, Start Date and Duration fields will appear. Choose the Frequency that you would like this transfer to occur.

Choose the Start Date that you would like the recurring transfer to start. Under Duration, choose when you would like this transfer to end. Click Continue .

Review transfer, click Transfer . If you need to change something, click Edit Transfer .

Managing Loan Transfers When you need to make changes to a loan transfer that you have set up via Online Banking, you can view and manage all transfers through the Transfer Activity page. Select Transfers . Click Transfer Activity .
Click on the arrow next to the transfer you want to make changes to. The transfer details will appear. From this screen, you can click Edit Transfer to make changes or Cancel Transfer to cancel the transfer.

Open a New Account To open an account, click on Account Opening . Click on the E-Signature and Electronic Disclosure Agreement link. You will need to click on the link before you can accept the disclosure. Once you’ve read the disclosure agreement, click I accept the terms of this agreement .
Click on Open a new account and click Submit . You can also resume an account application that you had previously started.
If you would like to add a joint owner to the new account, check the box next to “I want to add a joint owner”.
Note: If the joint owner you wish to add to your new account is not already a Milford Federal customer, you will need to open the account via the Milford Federal website.

If applicable, complete the joint owners information, click Save and Continue .
Note: The joint owner’s information must match what we have on our system. If any information does not match, the joint owner will not be added to the new account.

Select the type of account you wish to open and the account you want to open. You can also give your new account a nickname, which is optional. Click Add Account .
At this point, you can add another account by clicking Add An Account or click Save and Continue .

If you would like an ATM/debit card, select the applicable button. Click Save and Continue.
Select an account that you would like to transfer funds from to your new account. Enter the dollar amount you’d like to transfer. Click Save and Continue .

Review all disclosures by clicking on each disclosure link. Once you review and accept each disclosure, check the applicable box (you will need to click on the link before you can accept the disclosure). Click Save and Continue .

Verify that the account information is correct. If something needs to be changed, click the Back button. If everything looks good, click Confirm and Submit .
Note: Once confirmed, you will not be able to go back and make further changes.
You will receive a confirmation that your account was opened successfully. The new account will appear on your online banking immediately.

Apply for a Loan To apply for a loan, click on Apply for a Loan . Complete each field. Click Next .
Complete Personal information. Click Next .

If you have any comments in regards to this loan request, enter them here. Click Next .
Review Disclosure. You must agree to this statement before submitting the application. If you agree to the disclosure, check the “I agree…” box. Click Submit.

Bill Pay Sending payments to companies and individuals has never been easier! Paying bills with Milford Federal helps you stay on top of your bills and quickly manage your payments.
Enroll in Bill Pay Click on Pay My Bills .
Click Sign up for Payments .

Creating a Payee Under the Pay Bills tab, click Add biller .

Add a Company Type the name of the biller. If Billpay has this biller’s information on file, you will see the name of the biller in the drop-down. Select biller. Billpay will automatically add the company for you. Click Next.

Making a New Payment From the Pay Bills tab, scroll to the payee you want to send a payment to. Click the Pay button .

Enter amount to pay, choose the payment date, and select the Pay From account. You have the option to include a Memo, if payment is paid via check. Click Pay.
Note: The Deliver By date will prefill with the earliest day that payment can be paid. You can change this date to reflect a later payment date, if desired.

You will receive a payment confirmation. On this screen, you also have the option to add a note for yourself. Click Done.

If you need to make a rush payment (next business day), click the Rush delivery available link.

A calendar will come up and show you the expedited payment date. The charge for this service will appear under the date. Click on the date.

Editing a Payment Under the Activity tab, select the payment you’d like to make a change to.
Click Edit payment.

You will receive a payment confirmation showing the change(s). Click Done.

Deleting a Payment Under the Activity tab, select the payment you’d like to cancel.

Creating a Recurring Payment Under the Pay Bills tab, scroll to payee that you’d like to set up a recurring payment for. Under the payees name you will see a link to add autopay. Click this link.

Complete applicable fields. Click Add autopay.

Editing a Recurring Payment Under the Activity tab, in the Active autpays section, click View autopay under the recurring payment you’d like to make a change to.

Deleting a Recurring Payment Under the Activity tab, in the Active autopays section, click View autopay under the recurring payment you’d like to delete.

eBills When you add a company that offers eBills, you can enter the required info to request eBills, and Billpay will send your request to the company. When you see the “Get your electronic statements and payment reminders here with eBills” link under a payee, that company offers eBills. Click the link.

Set up Reminders Reminders will alert you when your Bill Pay payments are due. Under the Pay Bills tab, click on the biller you want to set a reminder for.

To remove or change a reminder, click on the billers name under the Pay Bills tab.

Activity History To view payment history, click the Activity tab . Along with past history, you will also see Scheduled payments and Processing payments.
If you need additional history or would like to filter your results, click on Filter .

Choose the applicable information you’d like to filter, click Apply . You can also download or print the payment history by clicking Download or Print.

Zelle Zelle is a fast, safe and easy way to send money directly between almost any bank accounts in the U.S., typically within minutes. With just an email address or U.S. mobile phone number, you can send money to friends, family and others you trust regardless of where they bank. As a security precaution, this feature is not available upon registration. To activate this feature, please contact us at 508.634.2500 . This message will come up if Zelle hasn’t been activated.
Enroll in Zelle Click Send Money With Zelle . Click Continue.

Review the Zelle Disclosure.
If you agree to the terms in the disclosure, click the checkbox, then click I accept the terms of this agreement.

Select an email address and mobile phone number you would like to use with Zelle. Click Continue.
Note: If you have another Zelle account with another institution, you must enroll with a different email and/or phone number with Milford Federal. For example, if enrolled at bank A using your mobile number, you could enroll at bank B using your email address. You can use Zelle at multiple financial institutions, but you must have a different email address or mobile phone number linked to each Zelle account. When registering for Zelle at Milford Federal and you’re using an email address and/or mobile phone number at another financial institution, you will be given the option to transfer your email address or mobile phone number to your Zelle account at Milford Federal.

Enter 6-digit verification code that you received from your email or mobile phone. Click Verify.
Create a New Contact Click on New Contact.

Enter your contact information. Select where to send the money to for this contact. It can be an email or mobile phone number. Click Save . You will receive an email or text confirming that you added or changed contact information.

Sending Money Click the contact you would like to send money to.
Enter amount and select account. Click Review.

Review your transfer information. You can also enter a reason for the transfer (this is optional). If everything is correct, click Send.

Requesting Money Select Request. Click the contact you would like to request the money from.

Split With Split, you can easily split the expenses or the cost of a dinner tab and receive money. Select Split. Click the contacts splitting the tab with you.

Activity Click on Activity to view pending or past transactions.

Settings Under Settings, you can update your profile, including email, phone number, and primary account. You can add, delete and/or update contacts.

My Profile Change Email Address Click on your name next to the person in the top right of the screen. Select My Profile > Change Email Address .
From this screen, you can change your primary email address or add/remove another email address. Once completed, click Update.

Change Address Click on your name next to the person in the top right of the screen. Select My Profile > Change Address.

My Devices Click on your name next to the person in the top right of the screen. Select My Profile > My Devices.
When logging onto a device for the first time, you will be presented three options in regards to trusting your device for future logins. Enter Choose your preferred option. 1. Remember This Device – this is a personal computer or mobile device that you trust and use frequently. 2. Change Phone Number Click on your name next to the person in the top right of the screen. Select My Profile > Update Phone Number.
From this screen, you can change or add phone numbers. Once completed, click Update.

Delete Digital Profile This option gives you the ability to request that your online banking profile be deleted. Once your online banking profile has been deleted, you will not have access to online banking. Click on your name next to the person in the top right of the screen. Select My Profile > Delete Digital Profile.

From this screen you are able to delete your online banking profile. Check the box acknowledging that you are requesting the deletion of your entire digital profile. Click Submit.

Multifactor Authentication (Enhanced Security at Login) This option gives you the ability to set up a prompt that will require a passcode to log in to your online banking. Each time you log in, the system will prompt you to enter a passcode. Click on your name next to the person in the top right of the screen. Select My Profile > Security Settings.
Check box to enable the Enhanced Security at Login. Click Update. (Uncheck box to remove this option).

Click Confirm .
Once confirmed, you will receive a pop up box requesting Identity Verification. Choose an option (text message or call phone).
Choose a phone number.

Enter the confirmation code you receive. Click Submit .
You will receive a confirmation message that multifactor authentication has been successfully set.
Banking Services Manage My Alerts
Enjoy convenience, ease and peace of mind when it comes to your online banking. Alerts help you stay on top of your finances by notifying you via email, text or both when the specified criteria are met.
My Alerts Click on your name next to the person in the top right of the screen. Select Banking Services > Manage My Alerts > My Alerts .
This page will give you more information about alerts, along with current alerts that you have previously created and when they were created.

Under Current Alerts, you can modify or remove any alerts that are active.
Under the Add Notification Subscription, you can add an alert(s). Select the alert(s) that you want to activate. Click Add Subscription .

The Alert History informs you of alerts that were used. This will tell you when the alert notification was sent, the type of alert, and where the alert was sent to.
Registered Devices Click on your name next to the person in the top right of the screen. Select Banking Services > Manage My Alerts > Registered Devices .

This screen tells you what devices you are having your alerts sent to. You can also edit or delete devices from this screen.
Note: You cannot delete a device if it is being used on an alert.
Secure Forms Click on your name next to the person in the top right of the screen. Select Banking Services > Secure Forms.
Combined Statement Request Use this form to request us to combine all your deposit accounts into one statement. Click Combined Statement .

Debit Card Replacement Request Form Use this form to let us know if your card is damaged, lost, or stolen and needs to be replaced. Click Debit Card Replacement Request Form . Complete required information. Click Submit .

Debit/ATM Card Application Use this form to apply for a new ATM or Debit card on an account that has never had a card linked to it. Click Debit/ATM Card Application . Complete required information. Click Submit .
Overdraft Opt In Affirmative Consent Use this form to authorize us to cover your ATM transactions and everyday debit transactions.
Note: You must have OOPs (Occasional Overdraft Privilege Service) to use this feature. This does not apply to recurring debit card transactions

Freeze/Unfreeze My Card If your debit or ATM card is lost, misplaced or stolen you can freeze your card. If you find your card you can unfreeze the card. Click on your name next to the person in the top right of the screen. Select Banking Services > Freeze/Unfreeze My Card .

To deactivate your debit card, click Deactivate . The button will change to Activate.
To activate your debit card, click Activate.
eDocuments Click on your name next to the person in the top right of the screen. Select Banking Services > eDocuments.

eStatements The eDocuments option will show you what accounts are currently set up to receive eStatements. You can also view both your Account Statements and Tax Documents here. To view, click on View eDocuments .

Statement Delivery Preferences You can also set up to receive your statements electronically or by mail.
To set or change delivery preferences for your statement(s), you must read and accept the Electronic Statement Agreement. Click on the word Here . Once you’ve read the agreement, copy the PDF Acknowledgement Code and paste or type the code in the Disclosure Acceptance Code field. The next step is to choose your preferences for each account. You can also select All Paper or All Electronic . Click Accept & Update Preferences .

Manage Biometric Devices This applies to mobile devices only. Click on your name next to the person in the top right of the screen. Select Banking Services > M anage Biometric Devices .
This gives you the option to remove a device from mobile banking. To remove a device, click the red“x”.

Account Settings The Settings option will allow you to Sort or Hide your accounts. Click on your name next to the person in the top right of the screen. Select Banking Services > Account Settings. To sort your accounts in a different order, click and drag the account to where you would like it to show on your account listing. To hide an account so you can’t see it online, click the “ eye ”. Click Save.
You can also create Nicknames for your accounts here. Enter your nickname. Click Save .

Notify MFB of my Travel Plans When travelling outside of the US, you will need to contact us in order to use your debit card. Click on your name next to the person in the top right of the screen. Select Banking Services > Notify MFB of my Travel Plans.
Complete required information. Click Submit .

Stop Payment To place a stop payment on a check or range of checks, click on your name next to the person in the top right of the screen. Select Banking Services > Stop Payment .

Note: You must come into the bank to order your first order of checks or to change the design or style of your checks.
You will need your reorder form (located in the second to last book of checks).
To order checks, click on your name next to the person in the top right of the screen. Select Banking Services > Order Checks.
Click on Order Checks next to the account you want to order checks for.
